Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Akubo IT account. We recommend that you set up your company's MFA to get the most out of securing your company's data.

Set up Multi-Factor Authentication

Setup via Authenticator App

  1. Download and install your preferred authenticator app:
    • Google Authenticator: ( Google Play | App Store )
    • Microsoft Authenticator: ( Google Play | App Store )
    • Twilio Authy Authenticator: ( Google Play | App Store )
  2. Upon logging in to your Akubo IT account, you will be prompted with a QR code. Open the authenticator (Google or Microsoft or Twilio/Authy) app and scan the QR code.
  3. The app will generate a 6-digit verification code. Enter this code to complete verification.

Setup via Email

You are one step closer towards a more secure Akubo IT account. Akubo IT will be sending a One Time Password (OTP) to employees attempting to login. Employees can use the OTP to login to their account to verify their identity

OTPs will expire after minutes

The OTP will expire after the specified number of minutes.

Set up Multi-Factor Authentication


1. Download and install an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator) on your mobile device.

2. Scan the QR Code.

3. Enter and verify the authentication code generated by the app.
